I love this app! Been using it for a few years now to identify plants and animals. Unfortunately recently the record sound feature has stopped working and is just freezing and crashing the app. It's a bummer because I'd really like to identify bird calls I'm hearing.

I enjoy this app a lot but I think it has a lot basic functionality flaws and some poor design. My biggest issue is that the app is so ridiculously slow. It's so inconvenient and I'll be sitting there for 10 minutes just trying to get to one specific thing. The app functions like it's an abandoned amateur student project. edit 2025: I think it got worse. it's borderline unusable.

I love that I can identify almost anything and that it helps contribute to science. But I really wish once identified I could get some more information about the plant/ animal etc. Especially if it is native/ invasive. It would also be great if the conservation status was listed, and some tips on how we could help or encourage that type of butterfly into our garden (for example)
