You very quickly get to the point where levels cannot be won without paid items. Shots are "sticky" and will regularly hit stuff you're not aiming at. The background sometimes blocks balls and sometimes doesn't and it's not clear as to which is which. Some level layouts make it impossible to hit anything other than like 15 balls due to the "stickyness".

I’ve truly loved this game it’s been my go to escape and a real source of joy. But after the latest update, something changed. The gameplay was tweaked in a way that makes progressing through even normal stages feel impossible without paying for extra lives or using special items. It breaks my heart to say this, but what once felt like a fun and rewarding experience now feels like a pay to win trap. I miss the game I used to love. So sad to see it go this way.

The actual game is fun, but every time I'm in the middle of a level, actually playing, I get a pop-up ad and when I exit out of it, I am not playing anymore. I lose all of my progress every single time I am on a new level! It's infuriating!!! I know that ads are a part of the play process, but not when they are actually going on while you're on a level and lose all of your progress! SOOO ridiculous!
