Well, this p.o.s. thing has gotten even worse, I did not think it was possible. A couple of weeks ago it just stopped logging any activity (I've been paying the ridiculous subscription for a couple of years btw), and even stopped logging the regular 24h timelapse. After struggling fruitlessly for a couple of days, I decided to re-install the app. Guess what: now I cannot even log back into my account, just says "oops there have been a connectivity problem, try again later". Hate this so much.

it's always been a really aweful app, and after a few years, it's still aweful. most of the time the live feed doesn't work and the historical clips frequently don't load. I haven't used any other smart camera apps, but I can't believe the Nest app is worse than this. Save your money (edit: i should add that I've contacted customer support numerous times and they can't fix it)

I purchased NOKIA HOME camera in Jul'18 and writing this in Oct- considerable time to test the product. Design looks very nice but I cannot say the list of pros extends beyond it. There is not enough angle adjustment to position the camera to look down at a baby in a cot and no tripod mount thread. I use a FIRE tablet Amazon, on a OnePlus3 and on a Samsung A5 (2015). On all devices, the video keeps glitching, freezing or not loading until I restart the app. Stills from hours ago are shown instead of the current view (ie. the app shows for a few seconds that there is no baby in the cot!) The speaker function also has a huge problem: every piece of music or sound available to play for the baby is a short length (ie. 1 minute) and plays on a loop. This would not be bad at all but every time the loop restarts there is a 2-3 second pause which creates a drastic change in sound that wakes the baby up. This is not soothing or helping the baby and is very frustrating for the parents too. I have sent a support request from the app without any response for a week!
