About this app
Nixie Tube Clock Widget displays the current time/date and helps set up an alarm.
Features:
★ Time and date display depends on your locale settings
★ 24h/12h mode
★ AM and PM indicators (12h mode only)
★ Show the Date
★ Set the Alarm
★ Settings section to customize the widget
★ Separate layout for the small screens up to 720dp wide
Settings:
You can set:
Visibility level for:
★ Background
★ LEDs
Enable/disable:
★ Background
★ LEDs
The app uses custom fonts created especially for this project,
to preserve the battery and to prevent the Android system from stopping the widget from working.
This widget was tested on many physical devices with no fail.
However, I cannot guarantee proper functionality on all devices.
If you experience any issues, please contact me before you post a review.
I am also open to any suggestions about new features you wish to see on this simple widget (a few of them found their way thanks to user's feedback, so don't hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas ;) )

This nixie widget excellent. Nice job. But.... The numbers are hard to see. Is there any way to increase the intensity or brightness of the numbers in the PRO version? I would like to know before purchasing. I didn't see anything that shows it can be changed. If not, can it be added? The brightness/intensity of the numbers are way too dim/dark compared to everything else on my phone screen. I tried turning up my screen brightness, using an all black wallpaper... it's still too dark. Thank you

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, in the Pro version you can increase the visibility of the numbers by changing their colour and you can also use the Bold font. Please contact me by email and I will send you few screenshots to see the difference before the purchase.

Really like it, for someone that remembers real Nixie Tubes, and now built several clocks with them. Looks very realistic. I had to tweet some setting on phone,to get it going and update time, all fine now Can't understand why so many negative reviews. Don't really pay for apps often, but I'll buy the pro one, for additional features.

I got a reply from the developer on my first review. Turns out you can adjust the background transparency and led lights of the clock! I wish i explored the settings before the first review. As for how the clock freezes from time to time, I had to mess around with my phone settings so that the app wouldn't stop running in the background. Great widget, has all that you need.

★ New reminder to whitelist the app in the battery settings to ensure that the app is not killed in the background causing the clock to stop updating.
