I have written to them in detail about bugs and issues that are insanely easy to fix and they haven't even updated the app a single time since then. Update: The bugs are STILL not fixed, the design is STILL broken, and many bugs from the old app are STILL present. I consistently miss messages that do not load and require an app restart or I simply don't get notifications at all. Edit: There have now been more bugs introduced, but no update in over a year.

App genuinely is broken. Weather you are scrolling past a pic, sending a pic, or trying to send a simple text, this "new", separate app from the original, is broken. If you're scrolling past a picture that's at the bottom of your feed, you WILL have an error, the app will auto close/minimize, and you'll have to reopen it. This happens REPEATEDLY without fail. For some ungodly reason, two of my friends are able to send pictures just fine. Me? No. I have a file error for png, AND Jpeg file types.

Been using this for quite some time, and can say it is less of a mess than it was, still cannot upload photos from the file manager, but hey, at least it's better than the old crashing. Sometimes the chat seems to freeze and not show new messages. Stickers can be a blurry mess and not animate, and it's not my internet. Animated room effects do not work, despite being enabled... yeah, just needs some hard polishing around the edges and even the basic user experience. Horrible for a separate app.
