Editing from 3 stars to 2, since this app seems to be getting worse. At least before I could use the apps in the allowed apps list and see my notifications. Now it regularly shuts down apps that are ALLOWED during a detox, and kicks me out of emergency use if I try to check my notifications? I'm so disappointed. I really like the concept of this app, but it's effectively useless. So I will be looking for something else. Again. Only got the second star because I like the concept and the UI.

Hello, if the allowed app tries to use some system app, that was not added to the list of allowed apps, the protective screen will get triggered. On some phones, the search box for example requires "Google" app added to the list. Ideally, please use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug, so we check, which package needs to be whitelisted.

This is my favorite tech limiting app and I've tried a lot of them! It's got every feature I need, a super simple interface, and the devs always reply to emails if there's any issues. I don't just use this for a full detox, but it's also my app for scheduling focus times. You can set several different options like "work" and "family time" (you can edit the labels), and then use these for separate automatic schedules that block what you don't need for that time of the day. Perfect app, thank you!

Good app, but could use some quality of life when managing lower level phone functions, while on a detox my phone will kick me out while accessing basic things such as copy+paste controls. When selecting apps whitelisted for detox it's difficult to discern which is which. Since some providers will name a sub task or device feature something like 'app.service' which doesn't give any real context when selecting it as whitelisted during detox. Still, great app, great monetizing strategy.

Hello, we have to implement a block for Samsung's proprietary pop-up widows which was a loophole on Samsung, a side effect of this is that copy and paste dialiog may also be recognized as a pop-up window in some situations. If you do not mind some loopholes you can fix this issue by disabling the Accessibility service for the app.
