The grind already starts at level 4 (10-15 min into the game). Impossible to beat the level without replaying it at least 8 times with average RNG. The only thing that kept me going was the desire to find out what was hidden on Timeline 2, but after realising I'd have to go through 3-4 times more grinding, I got bored and uninstalled. 3 Subway Surfers out of 5.

I see the issue of paying REMOVE ADS hasn't been addressed. I emailed to ask for a refund. At one point after paying, I had to re-watch another ad to progress. So not only it didn't removed ads, I had more ads. It happened at least 4x after my purchased. At first, I found the ads tolerable. The more I play it I have come to realised that I have more ads (minutes) than gameplay. At least 15 to 16 Ads per level, add one more if you have to revive. It was fun while it lasted. Uninstalled.

Really fun game. Except that when an ad pops up during a round, if you try to click the x and it sends you to the play store, a lot of times, it completely resets the app, losing all progress you made during the round. Very frustrating and making me want to stop playing. Edit: I started out giving it 3 stars, but it keeps restarting my game and losing progress on battles when an ad sends me to the playstore, so 1 star it is. I would sometimes use ads for bonuses, but not when I get forced ads.
