The new app is awful! I used to be able to turn on and sync multiple lights in groups. Everything was great and govee was the brand I recommended to everyone. Now they've changed the app and the group features are all messed up. Changing the colors of a group changes one light entirely and only 1 segment of the second light in the room, customization is no longer intuitive and is clogged up with more buttons that do less things.

Absolutely AWFUL app!!!! The latest update is utter garbage! I can no longer change my automation. It is stuck on my last color scheme (Mardi Gras). I found the location of how to do it but it will not "confirm" and allow me to "save". It just spins for eternity after trying to confirm. What an absolute piece of trash this app is!! Do not purchase!!!!!!

This app used to be great about two years ago. They keep adding useless features and making the light controls more complicated for no apparent reason. The latest app update is the worst one yet, they've now hidden the automation button, which is the most useful feature of the app. I used to recommend this brand to everyone who commented on my lights, now with how complicated they are and the prices always going up I tell people to check other brands.
