Plot
You wake up on a beach - shipwrecked, confused, and traumatized. Follow the footprints and you will find a fellow survivor in the wilderness. She is a nomad, who seems to have endured the same traumatic experiences. Together, you embark on a quest for answers and retribution. As you venture through the world to discover the truth in this interactive fiction story, youāll gather equipment and forge your character.
The lands of Tem Khiris are drenched in blood. You must figure out a way to survive in this world of warring states and rival tribes. Proceed with caution, for death lurks around every corner. Poor decisions will soon send you on a one-way trip to the Underworld.

its good but there is two big issues that breaks the game. first one is the point system, you need to go with a set thing cause you cant defeat the mantis, you gonna need agilty and perception one to hit him the other one to outspeed him plus you need bleed immunity to even get the chance to win, second one being enemies that game sent to just to lock you out of certain things so it causes you to just doing the one thing that is the way. i would have continued but im out of space.

The game is good, but I don't know about the actual difficulty for what it is. I'm level 10 and so far have dealt with opponents of level 30+multiple times (which you will not win) it's also pretty bad about not having items available at shops. I paid for the full version/story and now I'm upset I did because the game becomes impossible to defeat. I don't recommend downloading it at all. This is common for ALL the Eldum stories also. Update. Restarted and can't beat a lvl 4 enemy now. Bad game.

I think there might be a misconception that the UI should probably be more clear about. The number visible on an opponent is not their level, it's their protection. That is useful information as your attack needs to surpass that number in order to inflict damage, and you can use tools such as "Puncture" to deal with high values.

You have to be into reading to play this, which thankfulky, I am. This & all the other Eldrum games are awesome. The lore, drama, plus mysteries are all enthralling to me, with each decision being very important to what happens later. Each character is interesting and it's easy to develop attachments and enmity towards any factions or individual NPC's. Sometimes it drags or has demotivating moments, but the next two games essentially solve dramatically reduce whatever issues happen in this one.
