Disappointing Wanted to support the company because ego complex was phenomenal but this was a lazy game. A girl walking through a corridor and reading phrases from books, no Interaction or choices of dialogue. The books themselves are underwhelming with no philosophical dialogue or links between them.

Beautifully crafted story, I don't remember how I found Caramel Column and their games however I'm thrilled that I was able to experience this. The emotions felt for Es is immensely different in a good way than many other stories I've read and played.

Unlike the original, this game is very linear. I thought I was making choices, but it turns out all the dreams were set in stone from the start. There is not much value in replayability (easily finished in 2hrs) and the ending is rather bleak. It does not have the same introspective charm of the original, and one may argue that the ending is rather regressive in terms of character development. The start is abrupt, and Es was difficult to recognize given the art. It's rather disappointing.
