I don't think that the drills in this app progress strictly from easy to hard. To be more specific, after I completed chapters 1 and 2 (easy mode) relatively easily, I was stuck in chapter 3 for over a YEAR. Drill 3.2 (P4, P5 harmonic) was horrible. I only barely managed to earn a passing grade on it today, after very literally MONTHS of trying. Chapter 4 got unlocked, and I immediately completed it with perfect scores on first attempt. A weird difficulty progression...

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, this is different to everyone, and there is no learning curve that would be perfect for each person. It depends on many many things, including your ear previous "background" when you start the app. Do not hesitate to enable free progression and play the chapters out of order if you feel it is better for you!

It's a great app overall. My only gripe is the interval spelling exercises that are extremely tedious. I find them somewhat useless. Moreover, they would be way too difficult for somebody who's not already familiar with music theory (e.g. they won't easily understand why D double flat is jot the same as C). Making these exercises optional or, at least, providing a piano interface would have been better. After all, it's an ear trainer, not a "technicalities of music theory" trainer.

In one sentence: very badly structured. Both the easy and complete modes. It is clear that the developer didn't test the app structure and progression with real people. In easy mode chapter one we start with m3, M4 intervals compared to P8, but the very next chapter it is P4,P5,m3,M3 all in one single drill which is INFINITELY harder, if not outright impossible. Ok went to "complete" because it had them separated, persisted for a month. Next there I see ******* harmonic inversion recognition.

Thank you for the feedback. Of course the app has been tested... Ear training is hard, and difficulties are different for everyone, so there is no perfect progression structure, and there are as many different ideal structures as there are users. You can create custom programs or enable free progression if that helps your specific case.
