Audials does not display any banner ads in the app, nor does it play commercials.
However, some broadcasters earn some money by playing radio advertising. Through advertising services, English advertising sometimes even runs on foreign language channels.
It's up to you as a listener:

Cool app, especially for internet radio. One big problem though is that when listening to an internet radio stream, the name of the song is not displaying as it should. Especially when connecting with Bluetooth to the car radio, only the station name is being sent to the car radio. With other radio apps both station name and song playing info is sent and displayed on the car radio. Please fix this major problem and your app will be near perfect.

Wonderful! There are no ads at all! There is a possibility to add URL if one can't find a needed station. And the app works smoothly, downloads pics if there are any, shows time of a track, format and bitrate. I stream it to my hi-end stereo system by Chromcast and find it exellent, much better than other free apps. Thank you very much devs! I'm happy with Audials so far

What an amazing app incredible platform incredible usability beautifully designed and for a while amazing to be able to record songs Don't understand why I can't record anything anymore though Is it because I haven't got the premier version? Please let me know as if I can afford it I will buy this great app š¤š¤š¤ ššš--IT'S A SHAME you have taken away the volume slider on the stations... this was much more convenient than using the phones volume PLEASE bring it back!!
