Absolutely love it. I'm disappointed I only discovered this game recently, after it's already been out for about 9 years. One of the best experiences I've had with a card game, period. I love the way the cards are mechanically designed. The aesthetics aren't really my cup of tea, but they're good enough. I will agree with some other reviews and say that it's better on PC than mobile, though. Some of the UI design on movile is a bit awkward, like when editing a deck.

App takes exclusive control of audio. You can not listen to anything in the background as it will automatically pause as soon as you open this game. I hope you *really* like the soundtrack because that's all you're getting. Would have knocked it down a star or two for that back in 2015, but it's 2025... No games on the market do this anymore and haven't for a long time. It's hard to trust a dev that can't even be bothered by the most basic of QoL will actually make a game worth my time.

The game mechanic is fun, but the difficulty increases constantly and there is no way to stay in your comfort zone. It becomes a bit frustrating after a while. You will get less rewards, because the NPCs beat you with better stuff you probably can't get, but if you can accept that it is a fun way to waste your time, if you're waiting for something or someone IRL. However, it's mostly a game of luck: For example, you can't prepare for your Gauntlet opponents, because they are secret and random.
