Grimvalor is challenging but not enough to make you hate the game you're playing. It's not a story centric game, and honestly, most of the "story" that is there is rather forgettable, but it makes up for that with smooth and satisfying gameplay. The controls are simple to use and responsive to input. There is lots of exploration with hidden items to find and many achievements to unlock. Really great game overall. I definitely recommend trying this out, especially with Play Pass.

I played the demo for a while and finally folded and bought the full game and honestly I gotta say, it was absolutely worth it. Definitely the best $7 I've spent in a while. Honestly my only problem with the game is that I kinda wish the main story was a little bit longer. How ever there is New Game+ and adds more items as well. Oh also it might be my phone but the controls sometimes act up for no reason at all. It might be my device as its not the newest anymore but besides that pretty great.

This feels like Demon's Souls. I'm not sure how far I am into the game, but so far the only annoying enemy type has been the flying thingy with fireballs. Overall, the game is good. Dodging and dashing feels great. You can chain dodge actions pretty much one after another (spamming does work but only if the timing of the incoming attacks is right). Funny how I died to the tutorial boss and they send you to "Nexus", exactly like in Demon's Souls. Not sure if it's possible to farm xp by resting...
