The game is polished and likevale. So, why 3 stars then? Several reasons: 1)Many enemies and abilities can easily be lost on the background 2)"Dangerous" enemies are represented by number. The number has to be always seen, since they will insta kill you on touch, and it is often not 3)Some mechanics have to be specified. For example, you can run through the entire game without noticing you have passive regen 4)Chromatic aberration makes any other ability obsolete 5)New game+ is weird 6)And more

Movement control is sick, it would be better if player can see the joystick and the joystick is in the fixed position. Too difficult when this 'invisible' joystick's center point always follow player's thumb wherever the thumb goes. Anyway, the gameplay is quite interesting. I'll install this game again when this joystick issue was fixed.

Another beautiful game by Hexage. Fun, unique, and intriguing gameplay, beautiful graphics and sound design, and a decent story to follow it up. Controls are challenging at times, I feel like sometimes they don't react as expected, but I don't think they're worth the overly negative reviews. There are also some visuals you get can stuck on, that are very hard to see. This (as well as several of their other games I've played) probably are best with a controller.
