You buy the ad free version of this app and rather then overwrite the free one, it actually installs a second version on your device. It does not tell you, or offer to uninstall the free version from your device. So you continue to use the ad version until YOU discover this and figure out which app is which & then uninstall it ! Don't bother, pick an app that will do this for you! This should not be the end users problem! This is industry standard to replace the free w/the paid app.

Everyday Calculation Apps

There are two distinct ways of selling apps:-
First, in-app purchases lets you unlock features or remove ads on the same app.
Second, there are two separate apps with ads (free to download) and without ads (paid). We use the later approach. It lets you install the paid app any number of times on any number of devices you own without paying again.

Simple, clean, efficient, tactile response, and you can buy add free version. Thank you for the app and thank you for not trying to make calculator more than it should be!

I used the free version for several months to make sure that I was happy with the product, then happily upgraded to the ad free paid version. Very pleased with it.
