15 yr user here with slightly over 1k nights booked. Used to be good. Not anymore. It is easier to gouge your eyes off than it is to reach their CS. Properties with "Request to Book" are almost always overbooked, charged upfront & then cancelled on the day of arrival with refunds taking up to 2 months. Cashback is kinda sus as the some of the supposed Cashback disappears on the day it is due. Use them to gauge prices then offer the property to pay that direct. You're welcome.

Ignore the average stars and look at the most recent reviews! The Agoda app is easy to use, booking is quick and easy. Unfortunately, the poor customer service overshadows this. I submitted a valid Best Price Guarantee claim, and not only was it wrongly rejected, but the response I received was a templated email with no actual reason provided. When I tried to escalate, it became clear that direct communication is near impossible. Good interface, but not worth the stress when things go wrong.

Terrible experience with Agoda. I booked and paid for a hotel through their platform, only to have the reservation cancelled due to a system issue on their end. It's been over 4 months, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received a refund. Their customer service has been completely unhelpful and unresponsive. Very disappointing and unprofessional — I expected much better.
