I've used this app for a few years, and it was an incredible tool for finding great restaurants and shops. Previously, it provided a large list of places, allowing me to choose the best option even if it was a bit farther away. However, with the new map feature, it only shows nearby locations, making the list very limited. After the redesign, the app has become completely useless—it's now extremely difficult to find what you're looking for. Very disappointed.

The app keeps changing & not for the better. Before I go on a trip I use the itinerary feature to plan daily activities by location so I can do things by clusters & not waste time darting from one side of a city to another. You used to be able to see just your day's planned activities on the map & if you have time to do more or finding somewhere to eat & drink nearby you could switch the map to see what saves you have nearby. This really enabled me to get the most out of a trip. Not anymore.

The reviews on trip advisor are helpful. My biggest beef is with finding things to do nearby. The way to do it without limiting yourself to a half dozen choices changes with each release. When I first wrotr this, I couldn't see more than 20 things nearby in map view. I have moved to a remote area and there are not many things very close. 2 in list view. After many releases, I got to a point where TripAdvisor showed thousands of things to do in a map view. Now that same map shows 45
