Considerably better than the original yet at the cost of the first game. As much as I love this one, I hate it after how the devs left behind the first obey me. Finishing the story is difficult, same as the first game but a tad easier. I foresee a similar situation as the first game where story becomes so hard to progress that there's no point in trying anymore. The f2p experience isn't the worst, but still not the best. Getting a card you want is quite difficult, hope you get lucky or pay up.

There have been improvements from the og game. But why there was a need for a new game and plot? Stopping the updates on the og game altogether, bold move. +THE DIFFICULTY SPIKES. Idk when you fell off solmare and became so greedy, and as an f2p player... very unmotivating that you're ending the series with so many unanswered questions and the tease of the 3 new chars for nothing... No wonder the fandom is dying. I've been with the og since release and I just feel hurt with how OM is ending...

They took the base game and improved on just about every aspect. Story is better paced (you don't have to read the first one to get into this one) the rhythm games are enjoyable, it's much easier to get rewards and upgrade cards. A lot of assets from the base game are included here, but they made improvements on how they're used. My biggest complaint is there isn't a way to share the gacha cards from the base game to this expansion, so you start from scratch when you first download
