Same as some other reviewers, the lack of persistent notification showing status is a major deficiency. Especially having no notification of inability to connect, confirmation of successful connection, and clear notification of disconnection leaves you guessing. Opening the app & trying to decipher recent log entries to determine connection status is not acceptable. Two stars at best, largely because it offers no peace of mind that the VPN is connected & working at any given moment.

WireGuard has been a game-changer for me when it comes to VPNs. Its simplicity and efficiency are impressive, and it outperforms many alternatives. However, the lack of a user-friendly interface can be a drawback for some users. Despite this, its speed and security make it a top choice for anyone serious about online privacy.

Well, it does connect and work but I feel it runs in a very hidden manner. No permanent notification, no status bar icon. Also, the connection process is completely hidden so you have no idea if it is connecting at all until the toggle switch suddenly turns green. I understand the minimalist approach but this app is a step too far, I will look for an alternative.
