About this game

Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.

No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.

Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

The game is very entertaining at first, but after some time its kinda of more of the same. Lacks updates(been waiting for more than two years, I was hopping something would come out) with new functionalities(different ways to build things depending on how and where you place/remove a block. Also different ways to place blocks(for when you're trying to build really tall or wide)); buildings(new styles for the buildings, maybe depending on the floor you're placing things. People, animals).

Great game but gets boring after a while because the town are limited to a really small size. I'd love to keep playing but don't want to make a new town but continue the one I have been working with. I understand mobile phones have limits but most modern phones can easily handle much more than the game demands.

I really dig this game. Simple, yet you can get lost in it for an extended period of time. It'd be cool if you could add some music in a future update, and maybe add town residents that walk along the streets or do random things around the buildings you create. I only have one complaint, but I'm not sure it is anything you can fix. The camera movement triggers my vertigo from time to time. I understand this is out of your control, but I did want to put that out there for others with vertigo.
